The remake of Final Fantasy VII is set to be PS4 exclusive until March 3, 2021. The Twitter announcement confirmed the news with cover art for the game. The game is set to be available on multiple platforms.

At XO19, Phil Spencer reported Microsoft was looking to bring the Final Fantasy franchise to Xbox. Nine titles from the franchise are among fifty coming to the Xbox Game Pass next year.
Other titles included are The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Tekken 7 and Darksiders 3.
Meanwhile, Square Enix announced that the development of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 had started.
In a Square Enix blog post, game director Tetsuya Nomura said, “We’ve already begun working on the next one as well, but I’m confident that playing through this title will expand your expectations just like the world that extends beyond Midgar,”
The original Final Fantasy VII was released on January 31st, 1997 to acclaim.
