New images on Spice and Wolf VR

Gotta wait until next year though

Indie developers Spicy Tails unveiled a “rough model” of Holo from the upcoming virtual reality anime based on Isuna Hasekura’s Spice and Wolf series recently to give a glimpse of project so far.

Returning form the anime is the voice over work of Ami Koshimizu playing Holo and Jun Fukuyama as Kraft Lawrence. Hasekura will be writing the anime’s scenario and the novels’ illustrator while Ju Ayakura will be working on the character design. Keisuke Sakikibara is providing the 3D modeling and motion, and n-buna is composing as well. Yō Shimizu is the provider of the concept art shown above and Masatoshi Sekai designed the logo.

The Spice and Wolf VR series will be released sometime in 2019 on HTC, VIVE, Oculus Rift, and other viewing devices. You can also watch it on PC without the use of a VR headset with English Subtitles.
