Xbox to announce new hardware at Gamescom

Early this morning Microsoft has made a blog post highlighting their future announcements at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Xbox writes to tune in to the Inside Xbox livestream for “lots of news, all-new Xbox hardware and accessories, and features on upcoming titles that we can’t wait to tell you more about and perhaps even a few surprises”.

Xbox Fanfest will also make its return, however will be on the Rhein river this year. The Xbox booth will have a line-up of 25 games to play including Forza Horizon 4, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, State of Decay 2’s all new mode titled Daybreak Pack, and a new mode in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Microsoft may be announcing their Xbox One holiday bundles and exclusives in August or may be revealing an updated Xbox Elite controller with a possible price drop of the original. Regardless it should make for an interesting series of announcements.

Tune in to Inside Xbox on Tuesday, August 21 at 10:30 AM EDT (7:30 AM PDT) for the broadcast.
