Ubisoft releases PC requirements for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey

Ubisoft releases PC requirements for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey

As the arrival of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey comes closer Ubisoft released the requirements needed for the PC version of the game. The PC port of the game will have variety with a benchmarking mode and plenty of graphical options for high and low settings, similar to the previous game Assassin’s Creed: Origins.

Ubisoft released this statement about the requirements:

“We are very pleased to share with you today some more information on the PC specs for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. As was already the case for Assassin’s Creed Origins, the PC version is not a port of the console versions of the game, but a tailored experience developed by a dedicated team at Ubisoft Kiev in close collaboration with Ubisoft Québec, the lead studio on Odyssey. Having a dedicated team on the PC version allows us to offer the level of customization that PC players expect, which will enable them to adapt the experience to their PC configuration. The PC version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will also include unique features not found in the console versions, such as benchmark tools to test the different graphics settings, and a toggle option for dynamic resolution rendering to uncap the framerate.”

It’s definitely generous on Ubisoft’s part to provide a title that can work with any computer needed to play the game, not forcing players to pick up a new expensive PC just to play their new title. Switching between the low and settings with the benchmark tool sounds interesting especially how players will use that in the game. At that point will it will come down to personal preference on what players enjoy seeing as far as graphics are concerned.

Comment below on what you think of the PC requirements for the game. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey comes out on October 5th, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
