Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 Will Not Have Microtransactions

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater will NOT feature cheeky microtransactions.

There will be no Microtransactions in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2

That’s right, you heard it here. Quite a surprise when all we really see these days are perks attainable only by feeding your wallet to the devil. But, to our surprise, Vicarious Visions, who’ve been running the show alongside Activision, have made it clear that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 will, in fact, have no sneaky tradings. That essentially means upon launch – we will have the entirety of the game in one package.

“Everything that you see at launch is going to be unlocked with gameplay. We’re not planning on having monetization at launch,” Jen Oneal, head of Vicarious Visions said.

However, this isn’t to say that microtransactions won’t be embedded in the future. Sadly, that all comes down to the hype on launch and the hunger for more content that could stem from the community. But, until that time comes, we can rest assured that our once-loved classic will be there in its fullest.

Oh, and before you go, you might be interested to know that the official soundtrack for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 has been released on Spotify. So, if you’re up for a trip down memory lane, feel free to skate on over to this “dope” playlist.
