The beloved Pokemon Company has announced that they are teaming up with Tencent, the Chinese powerhouse developer known for PubG mobile and Arena of Valor, for a brand new Pokemon game. However, it is the TiMi Studio group one of the four central pillars of Tencent that will be handling the development of this new game.
Up until we hear anymore about this intriguing title, you will have to wet your whistle with the summer release of Pokemon Masters created by DeNA; this will be releasing for mobile, on both android and iOS.
This title takes place on the artificial island of Pasio; Pokemon and their trainers share a special bond; this is called Sync Pair. This game is revolved around teaming up with famous trainers seen through the games, from any of the continents, such as the legendary Pokemon Trainer Red or Cynthia the Champion of the Sinnoh region. Everyone on this island has formed their own sync pairs with their beloved Pokemon.
Once you have formed bonds with trainers around the island, you will then engage in Pokemon battles, but with a new twist, every fight will be a three-on-three. Every battle is played out in real-time, unleash potent attacks one after the other, as your move gauge will automatically refill over time. Howbeit, for the very first time, trainers can use their own moves and healing items in the heart of the battle.
You will have to develop brand new strategies for everyone you encounter, as you’ll be squaring off against multiple sync pairs! Will you manage to become of the champion of the Pokemon Masters League?
Pokemon Masters will release worldwide this summer, as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases, on both android and iOS devices.
