THQ Nordic Has Over 80 Games In Development

THQ Nordic has been very busy lately even since their acquisitions throughout the years. The company has acquired both big and small game developers including Koch Media and Pirahana Bytes. With all these teams under their belt, THQ has the rights to franchises including Saints Row and Dead Island. THQ recently has revealed their business plans during their financial reports including the announcement of over 80 games in development.

“During the period we signed multiple new projects, among them a new development agreement… By the end of the quarter, THQ Nordic, Deep Silver and Coffee Stain had 80 games in development, of which 48 titles are currently unannounced.” Source: WCCFTech

This would include the likes of AAA titles, independent games, remasters such as the recent release of Saints Row: The Third Full Package for the Nintendo Switch. It’s highly likely that THQ is working on fan requested games including Darksiders 4, Prototype 3 and a new Red Faction game. THQ Nordic is also known to publish games including the highly anticipated, Shenmue III. There have been teasing hints for some of these previously mentioned games. Deep Silver has gone on record on saying that “exciting times are ahead”, teasing fans with a potential reveal of a new entry into the Saints Row franchise.

Howdy there folks! My name is Nicholas, I’m 19 and I love all things gaming related all the way down under in the treacherous lands known as Western Australia. One thing you should know about me is that I’m the biggest Lord Of The Rings and all things Tolkien fan as well. I have a deep passion for both writing and gaming so being a video game journalist would be a dream come true and one day I will reach that dream. My favorite game of all time has to be without a doubt Shadow Of The Colossus .
