Recently, Ubisoft has revealed new details on their weapons features for their upcoming release of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. First, Ubisoft attends to offer a realistic approach to their weapons from scratch. Additionally, rifles will be in the game with the following:
- Assault Rifles
- Marksman Rifles
- Submachine Guns
- Light Machine Guns
In fact, rifles will be separated into two categories Assault and Marksman. Also, the rifles will be either semi-automatic and burst-fire. On top of that, each weapon will have their own exotics which will define the weapons as their own.
Next, grenades will be used differently. To sum it up, concussion grenades will be used until the player reaches level 30. Once level 30 is available the following grenades can be used:
- Flashbang grenade – Sharpshooter
- Incendiary grenade – Demolitionist
- Frag grenade – Survivalist
Third, mods in the game will be unlocked instead of purchasing through loot crates. By doing this it will maintain more interest in the mods. In addition, the mods will work to the player’s preference. For example, any unlocked mod will stay that way and can work with any weapon.
Finally, weapon talents will be reworked for the game. For example, in order to get a talent for your weapon, you’ll need an attribute, brand, and particular weapon equipped. However, each talent will have a gameplay theme in which your weapon will be limited to. Also, an augmented tracker will be placed on the side on the side of your weapon as a scope. Additionally, the tracker will work differently upon each talent.
