The Division 2 Open Beta: First Details Announced

Fans eagerly awaiting the March 15 release of Ubisoft’s The Division 2 will get the chance to jump into the ravaged streets of Washington D.C. a couple of weeks early.  An open beta for the multiplayer-focused sequel will run from March 1-4.

Additional details as to what the beta will include or what specific times it will run have yet to be released. At the very least, it seems likely that the open beta will include everything that was in the game’s private beta: two main missions, five side missions, a Dark Zone (the game’s dedicated PVP area), and the ability to advance to level 7. Additionally, the private beta gave players an idea of what the endgame will look like with a level 30 character and an accompanying mission. Fans were also given their first look at the dangerous new Black Tusk faction.

As more Division 2 details become available, we’ll keep you guys updated. In the meantime, you can read up on DLC plans or what raids will look like.

Let us know if you’re excited for the upcoming sequel! Are you looking forward to teaming up with friends in post-pandemic Washington D.C.?
