Temtem, the indie Pokémon-like MMO that has made a splash in the Steam community, is planning big things to come within the next year of updates including a console release, Nuzlocke, and more.
One of the most note-worthy plans is a console release. Currently, Temtem is only available on PC. By Spring 2021, Crema, the developer of the game, hopes to release Temtem across all platforms.
We expect to have the console ports ready for when we plan to launch the 1.0 release.

Another big one is bringing Nuzlocke to the game. This hardcore mode of playing originated from the Pokémon games and involves a perma-death system to any of your fainted Pokémon/Temtem during your battles. Temtem players will be able to face this challenge if they’d like with other players on a Nuzlocke-only server, meaning you’ll only see players who are also doing Nuzlocke challenges.
Loads more changes are on the way, according to Crema. Some of these include a ranked matchmaking system, achievements, and end-game island, and more. The full list of features is listed in the graphic below.
So far, Temtem has been met with great reviews and has been met with good sales. Crema posted a plan for what fans can expect to come soon. They mention that while these are planned for the game, they may not actually end up in the game due to plans changing.
Please, keep in mind that every detail discussed here is not 100% confirmed for the game. During the game’s development cycle, ideas change constantly and stuff we like today we might not like as much tomorrow. So take everything in here not as confirmed facts, but more like the stuff we would like to include in the game.

Along with that, they said to not focus too hard on the intended release dates, as those are subject to change as well.
