Sony is blocking character transfers in Destiny 2

If you currently play Destiny 2 on the PC, bad news, it looks like Sony is going to be blocking character transfers across platforms.

Out of both Destiny games, the second one was the first that was brought to the PC, but Sony has announced that they wish to make Destiny a game one would recognize solely with PS4. But for those players who have already put countless hours into a character on console and were hoping to transfer it onto their computer, it doesn’t look like it will be happening any time soon.

This hasn’t been the first time that Sony has held firm though, originally it was cross-play and Fortnite. Keeping friends from interacting with each other even though they may not have the money to buy a brand new system at the time.

Despite all this, I do applaud Sony for sticking to their guns, they have the exclusive games going for them in that sense, and this might just be another power move that we just don’t have the foresight to see.

What do you think about this move by Sony? Are you mainly a PC gamer? Make sure to join in on the conversation below.
