Skyward Sword might come to the Switch

Recently, Eiji Aonuma possibly hinted at The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword coming to the Nintendo Switch. In fact, according to Weico through Eurogamer that the longtime producer made some interesting comments on the game.

Additionally, he was attending a Zelda musical in Osaka, Japan where Eiji took the stage and addressed the crowd.

“I know what you are thinking,” Aonuma supposedly remarked, “Skyward Sword for Switch, right?”

Honestly, who thought that was going to happen. Yet, we’ve known for some time that another Zelda title was in the works. However, with the Wii U’s lifespan and the wait for Breath of the Wild we might see that process repeated.

Of course, on the Wii U we saw remastered releases of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker with updated controls and graphics. Not to mention, with Skyward Sword it could certainly use a serious remaster.

Accordingly, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword came out in 2011 celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series at the time. Interestingly, the game changed the traditional formula of the series with new motion controls and different dungeon layouts.

In addition, with its solid origins story seeing a remaster to the game would be wonderful. Not to mention, having the controls be updated as they have not aged well.
