With a new teaser on Twitter, Shadow Warrior 3 could be revealed as soon as July 11th
We may soon be getting a new installment in the Shadow Warrior franchise, as developer Flying Wild Hog has all but confirmed that Shadow Warrior 3 is coming soon. Through a Twitter photo, the developer said that a new teaser trailer was in the works. Given they are best known for working on the rebooted Shadow Warrior series, this has sparked excitement among fans of the series. Added to this that Devolver Digital, publisher of Shadow Warrior, is hosting a digital reveal event next week, it seems obvious that they will show off Shadow Warrior 3 to some degree.

The tease fits in well with the development cycle for the Shadow Warrior games. Flying Wild Hog released the rebooted first game in 2013, with a sequel following in 2016. After the positive reception, the second game received, its no shock that another entry is coming. Especially when it’s roughly the right time for it.
For those who don’t know, Shadow Warrior is a series of first-person shooter games about Lo Wang. Lo is a modern ninja, and the game focuses on his story. The last game featured many fun elements such as 4-player co-op and randomly generated levels. Shadow Warrior 3 may well feature these gameplay elements, as well as some interesting new ones. The video below gives a good sense of what the series is about:
