A rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale mode will release on February 11th, 2020. Raven Software, known support developers, re-tweeted an official tweet from earlier this week highlighting the update coming. The tease itself highlights an old character and recognized locations without giving too much detail. It is now assumed that a larger feature is in the works as a secondary developer may be assisting.

Raven Software has always been involved in the development process of Call of Duty games. It can be concluded that the company is trying to help build the hype on a franchise they assist on. However, this likely isn’t the case. We believe that Raven Software has helped develop something big for the game. It is known that Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale mode was quite a large hit for the community and similar to how Call of Duty carried zombies across from one to the next, the Battle Royale game-mode may follow suit.
Respawn First, reports that the Battle Royale mode will allow for up to 200-players. Also, the map will span a much bigger area than Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale mode. Above all, we know that the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season starts on February 11. This certainly means that fans are going to be getting new maps and weapons to play with regardless.
