Playstation 5 is Sony’s next-generation console, and there is so much we do not know about it, of course, there are a plethora of rumours floating around, all hinting at it will be a mighty machine – almost as powerful as the latest Nvidia GPU the RTX 2080!
Yesterday a user called Komachi leaked sample clocks called Oberon, which is assumed to be the same as other codename leaks such as Ariel and Gonzalo, all are considered to be the name of the APU for the PS5.
Gen2 : GFXCLK = 2.000GHz
Gen1 : GFXCLK = 0.911Ghz
Gen0 : GFXCLK = 0.800Ghz.

Gen0 is the Playstation 4, Gen1 is the Playstation 4 Pro and Gen2 is the Playstation 5.
Very little is known about the exact specs of the PS5, apart from they will use AMD’s third-generation Ryzen Line and the GPU will support ray tracing.
The CPU is based on the third generation of AMD’s Ryzen line and contains eight cores of the company’s new 7nm Zen 2 microarchitecture. The GPU, a custom variant of Radeon’s Navi family, will support ray tracing, a technique that models the travel of light to simulate complex interactions in 3D environments.
