Respawn Entertainment has been made aware of some hit box issues in Apex Legends.
If you are reading this, then the chances are that you have at least tried Respawn’s surprise hit, Apex Legends. If you haven’t, go start the download and come back (it’s free).
Back? Good. Well, it turns out that there are some inconsistencies with Pathfinder’s hit boxes. A YouTuber by the name of SookieSpy posted a video showing Pathfinder taking hits when the shots should have not made contact. He demonstrates that shots go cleanly through the space around Bloodhound, but when someone takes aim at good ol’ Pathfinder, the plucky android takes damage even when he is not directly being fired upon. Sound confusing? Watch the video below.
SookieSpy then took to Reddit to try and make the game’s developers aware of the situation. They replied stating, “We are definitely aware of it and we were actually discussing it today. I can’t say anything more for now but we hear you guys.”
In today’s gaming climate, it is nice to see Respawn listen to their audience in order to improve upon an already impressive product.
Although, it would be nice if they could also give Gibraltar a little more pep in his step.
Apex Legends is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
