Rumors that seem more than possible
Rumors seem to be flying all over the place, and some of them say that Capcom is going to reveal a remake of the third RS game in 2020. Is this possible? Of course it is, especially since Capcom said they were considering doing more remakes last year. Now, with 2020 coming sooner rather than later, the chances of getting a Nemesis Remake are now higher than ever. The Resident Evil 2 Remake was an exceptional hit. Even the new entry in the franchise, Resident Evil 7 was outstanding. A proper horror game that was a bit dragged down by boring shooter filler between the spine-chilling encounters. Still, Capcom is rocking the horror/shooter/survival market. No one can come close to the quality they’re pumping out at this time.
We would love to see Nemesis rendered by a modern graphics engine
But, is another remake coming out so soon? Quite possibly. Nemesis is one of the most refined and adored entries in the Resident Evil franchise. With the remake of the second game being immensely successful, they should continue riding that wave and come out with another stellar remake. Especially since the horror genre isn’t really offering any quality thrills these days. And let’s face it, what would you do if you saw Nemesis in a modern game with modern graphics? “Soil my underwear” is an acceptable answer. Why? Well, imagine Mister X, but with an appearance that can make a grown man faint. And enough firepower to take down a building. He’s also quite aggressive and menacing. So, Mister X but on monster steroids.
