Rage 2 Won’t Have Mod Support at Launch

When Rage 2 was revealed at E3 earlier this year it shocked most fans as no one ever expected a sequel to Rage. Rage 2 is different from any other game on the market and has intrigued many fans across the globe.

The PC version of Rage 2 will not have mod support at launch but within time I do feel we will see it in the game.  Rage 2 game director Tim Willitis also confirmed that Rage 2 will have no multiplayer but will have social components. Tim Willitis would then proceed to hint at that cars could be collectible in the game.

“You know that at id Software we’re big into mods, so we know it’s important, we just haven’t figured out that roadmap yet,” he said. I personally think Mods are great for games as it expands the lifespan of games that otherwise die in 4-5 months. Skyrim has been big for so long.

Rage 2 is scheduled for a spring 2019 release for Xbox One, PC, & PlayStation 4
