PUBG is Finally Getting Cross-Play in October


Announced today during Microsoft’s special inside Xbox episode, we now know that in October we can come to expect Cross-Play for PUBG on Xbox and PS4 consoles. Named as one of the pioneers of this Battle Royal trend, fans will excited to see this beloved game shared among multiple consoles.

Cecilia Lee the Community Manager in the PUBG Corporation said, “This has been, hands down, the most requested feature since we launched on consoles and we’re so happy to finally provide this for our console community on Xbox One and PlayStation 4”. This feature will first be available in September on the test server and then make its way to full game as usual.

Also anounced on this inside Xbox episode was the PUBG Team’s goal to make available new content on consoles much fast than before. “Starting Aug. 27, PUBG Season 4 will release on console and all-in game content will be aligned across all platforms. All subsequent console updates will then land two weeks after its release on PC”, stated Lee.
