With China’s strict regulations, it will mean that the next-generation for Chinese gamers will be delayed until an unknown date next year, at the earliest. The country is still a major market for both PC and consoles, but that does not mean everything comes in on time or at all.
Regardless of the plan for China, the rest of the world is still not sure of when people can get their hands on the next iteration PlayStation or Xbox. Both Microsoft and Sony have given details on the hardware and the games coming, but no price or date has been set as of now.
Sony just unveiled the PS5 last week on June 11, showing the world what the console will look like along with games like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and the remake of Demon’s Souls.
Microsoft had its own event last month and will have another in July. In May the world got a trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which disappointed fans along with some new and familiar IP. On the one side games like Madden NFL 21 and Dirt 5 were shown off. New IP got either unveiled or got a new trailer to refresh people’s memories like Scorn, Second Extinction, The Medium, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
