Panic Button is the studio which has ported Doom and Wolfenstein 2 to the Nintendo Switch and they have made a name for them self in porting AAA games over to the Switch.
But they aren’t done yet as currently, they are working on another Switch port which is set to be announced next month.
Panic Button has been in charge of bringing over Rocket League, Doom and Wolfenstein 2 to the Switch and these games have been loved and praised by the community for the company sticking to the original games and trying to maintain as much as the visual quality they can.
Adam Creighton, director of development and co-owner of Panic Button, dropped the juicy tidbit during a recent interview with Variety. they didn’t say much else on the matter but he did have this to say about the company.
“We’ve been working on the hardware for a long time, almost six years,” he said. “That’s more than almost any third party.
Panic Button really loves to show off just how much the Switch can handle AAA games, even though people claim the Switch isn’t powerful enough, However, he did say Wolfenstein II, in particular, has brought a different sort of challenge for the team.
“We’re really pushing the engine forward and everything else,” Creighton said. “We’re trying to hold onto all of those visuals. We’re really proud with what we did.”
