Battlefield 5 will no longer include a premium pass, so what does this mean?
Well, it means all players will get every single map and game mode that comes out after launch completely free of charge. So the player base will not be split up into those who have the Premium pass and those who don’t.
According to EA this was something asked by players and DICE its self. We love that DICE and EA want to keep the community together.
EA hasn’t actually said how they will monetize Battlefield 5, however, there will be cosmetic items in the game which we could see free versions of cosmetic items and paid versions. We will have to wait and see when we get some more information about Battlefield 5 at E3.
This news was just announced on the Battlefield 5 Live reveal.
