Nintendo’s console and game sales revealed

Recently, its been revealed that Nintendo has been doing extremely well this holiday season. In fact, according to Business Wire the Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling console of the current generation. Additionally, it has sold 8.7 million units outperforming other consoles at this stage of it’s life cycle. 

On top of that, Super Smash Bros Ultimate is seeing tremendous success. In addition, the game has sold 3 million copies in the U.S. after coming out less than two weeks ago. 

Not to mention, Doug Bowser at Nintendo of America expressed his excitement over the recent success.

“We are thrilled to see such a strong reaction from consumers in the second holiday season for Nintendo Switch. We’re looking forward to delivering more excitement and smiles to our fans in the coming year and beyond.”

Of course, the other titles are still doing amazing as well. For example, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild has sold 4 million with Mario KArt 8 Deluxe selling 5 million. Obviously, Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee have sold 2 million, Super Mario Odyssey with 4.7 million, and Super Mario Party with 1.4 million units all in the U.S. alone.
