Nintendo Denies Zelda: Skyward Sword For Switch

Nintendo Denies Zelda: Skyward Sword For Switch

A few days ago we spoke about Zelda: Skyward Sword coming to the Nintendo Switch, However, it now appears that this isn’t the case as in a statement sent to Eurogamer Nintendo said:

“At this time we have no plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch,”.

Though the game might still come to the Nintendo Switch, it would require a lot of rework due to the fact that Zelda: Skyward Sword was a game released on the Wii U in 2016 and gave the player support of the Wii Motion Plus accessory, which gave the player a 1:1 movement control over Link’s sword movements.

Though many fans of the game did not like the motion controls, which lead to people saying it was clunky and unresponsive.

So if it was to release on the Nintendo Switch a lot of work would be required to make it playable with the joycons.
