New Nintendo Switch update will permanently link user’s account to their profile
On September 18th next week when Nintendo’s new online service begins, more features will change for Nintendo Switch owners as well that day. A new update will be available that links a user’s account to their profile permanently.

Nintendo released this statement through their website on the subject:
“After installing the system update planned for September 18th, 2018 (Tuesday) at [5 PM PT/8 PM ET], it will no longer be possible to unlink your Nintendo Account from your Nintendo Switch user. Prior to this change, it is important to confirm that your Nintendo Account or your child’s Nintendo Account is linked to the correct user.”
“By ensuring that your Nintendo Account is linked to the correct user, you will be able to appropriately manage your save data, Nintendo Switch Online membership, and Nintendo eShop content,” they added.
It should be interesting to see how everyone reacts to the new online service and how it these updates will help the Switch grow with an online community at hand.
