New Nintendo Direct reveals Nintendo’s latest exciting projects
Nintendo’s latest direct revealed bits of everything to keep everyone happy in the meantime. They mentioned plenty of information we’re already aware though they mixed in surprises to keep us excited.
Square Enix has since fallen in love with the Nintendo Switch as it will be a home for its classics like Final Fantasy 7, 9, 10, 10-2, Crystal Chronicles, and a Pocket Edition of Final Fantasy 15.
Yoshi’s Crafted World
We finally saw the return of the Yoshi title that was mentioned briefly around the time of the launch of Nintendo Switch. Yoshi’s Crafted World is a playful platformer in the vein of Yoshi’s Story on the N64 now with the ability to flip around the level to play it backwards to see things you saw on the first run.

Nintendo revealed new NES Joycons for the NES title available on Nintendo’s new Online service to make the playing experience more accurate and retro. The controllers will be available at$59.99.
Current titles on the Switch will see new updates like Splatoon 2 and Mario Tennis Aces. Splatoon 2 will get new weapons like a grenade and spray can with a gas mask as a new accessory to splatter foes with. Mario Tennis Aces will get new characters like Shy Guy, Birdo, Koopa Paratroopa, and Petey Piranha to compete with.
Bowser’s Inside Story
The 3DS saw some interesting new surprises as the classic title Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story will have the player control Bowser Jr. now to save his father from the inside out.
One of the more interesting titles to be revealed was Game Freak’s new game simply called Town. Town is an RPG which takes places in a village where it becomes ravaged by monsters. The monsters apparently are after a secret that the village is guarding against the monsters invading.
Luigi’s Mansion 3
What seems to be the biggest reveal happened at the beginning of the Direct with Luigi’s Mansion 3 coming to the Nintendo Switch soon. The trailer is brief showing Luigi in a familiar location searching for something with quick shots of the third entry to the classic series that debuted on the Nintendo Gamecube.
Overall this Nintendo Direct will keep you busy for a while to digest. Information that should be revealed at conventions like E3 is now presented to us from the comfort of our homes.
