Crash returns for a new adventure

If the trailer has not satisfied your thirst for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, then these screenshots will hopefully satisfy you. Twitter user Koala Kong posted the latest images of the upcoming platformer.

Yesterday the fourth main adventure with the iconic marsupial was announced with a flashy trailer. The description on the website gives insight into the story that will be told:

“Picking up where the original trilogy left off, Neo Cortex and Dr. Nefarious Tropy have escape their interdimensional prison and in doing so have fractured the boundaries of time and space. It’s up to Crash and Coco to save the day.”

The first Crash Bandicoot was developed by Naughty Dog in 1996. The series went through two more main installments with 1997’s Cortex Strikes Back and 1998’s Warped. Then it went through a series of spin-offs, some under Naughty Dog and others under different studios. The franchise went dormant in 2010 until 2017’s remastered collection of the original trilogy titled Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Crash 4 is being developed by Toys For Bob, the studio behind 2018’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will launch on Xbox One and PS4 later this year.
