Become a werewolf in this upcoming action-RPG

During the top of IGN’s Summer of Gaming Event, a cinematic trailer was shown for Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. It gave a haunting look at this upcoming action-RPG.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse is set in the World of Darkness, a universe across a variety of studios under publisher Nacon. This game will be reminiscent of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which is scheduled to launch this year. Take the basic premise of that game, where you roam around as a vampire, except in Werewolf you are, well, a werewolf. Think of this universe being built like a video game version of Universal Studios’ failed Dark Universe films with The Mummy that starred Tom Cruise.

“Become a werewolf, known among themselves as the Garou, immersed in the atmosphere of their shamanistic and tribal world,” reads a description of Werewolf. “Garou are warriors opposed to urban civilization and supernatural corruption, all heading towards inevitable apocalypse.”

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is planned to launch later this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
