New Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gameplay shows Alexios vs. Medusa

At PAX West Ubisoft shared a new livestream of their upcoming title Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey which will come out October 5, 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. During the livestream it guides us to the city of Lesbos as Alexios, along with Kassandra will be one of the playable characters in the game.

The demo displays how missions work as far as setting it up by meeting bystanders and engaging in a somewhat actual conversation. During the conversation you’ll be prompted with choices in how to advance the direction of the information being presented to you as well as getting to know the situation and the people involved.

RPG elements are present here giving the player the many options to customize their armor to their own personal preference. Battle preference isn’t left out either as players who prefer a certain style of fighting whether it be heavy offense or defense will have the option here.

Taking a page out of Legend of Zelda the livestream also shows the ability to have a horse on hand to be able to call upon when needed. Depending on which horse you choose will be decided early on in the game.

One of the highlights in the demo is seeing Alexios face off against Medusa herself. This demo is set later on in the game which Ubisoft have stated that the Medusa fight is suppose to be one of the challenging boss fights in the game. With tons of quests to go on after the main campaign Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will keep you busy for a while.
