NES online games will have HD features and more
Nintendo has announced that their NES games which will be available through their online service will have special enhancements to the playing experience. Similar to the NES Classic the games will have HD enhancements with save states applied to the experience to make those harder NES games easier to digest.

What’s interesting is though is the NES games will have a new feature where a second player can join and act as a mouse cursor as seen above. This gives the player a chance to help out their friend while playing like to show them where to go while progressing in titles such as The Legend of Zelda. Even a clapping option is available to congratulate them on a certain victory in the game they’re playing.
It’s fond to see Nintendo apply such cheerful innocence into their games that are over thirty years old. With the NES controllers coming soon to the Nintendo Switch the experience can’t get any more retro than that.
