Mass Layoffs At Activision Blizzard – Report

It’s not going well for Activision Blizzard, with all the lawsuits that are going on as well as the split from Bungie.

It now seems that Activision Blizzard plans to announce job cuts Tuesday, this is in part to do with the fact that sales are slowing.

Now it’s not odd for a company to lay off people in a temp to increase profits.

Even though Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 did exceptionally well with sales, but in a November conference call, they outline that some main titles such as Overwatch and Hearthstone have seen a decline in the player base.

Not only that but Destiny 2 Forsaken sales did not meet the expectations, which led to the split from Bungie, which could reduce annual revenue by as much as $400 million.

Are these games losing their player base because of the Battle Royale genre being so popular? Let us know in the comments below. If you enjoyed this article why not share it on social media.
