According to retailers, it is.
So currently this is a rumour, as we have seen many retailers list games in the past with release dates, only to later learn they were false. So do remember to take this with a pinch of salt.
So as it stands, a lot of retailers around the world are listing Assassin’s Creed III for the Nintendo Switch. Now, it makes sense for Ubisoft to bring an Assassin’s Creed title to the Switch, especially with how good the Switch has been selling, and with how they have seen great success with the games that have been brought to the console already, such as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
So currently, we have seen a German retailer with a listing, as well as a series of Czech operations. But who knows, it could just be fake, especially how if you look at the release date, it’s 15th February–though the release date could just be a placeholder.
Also consider the fact that it would be hard for Ubisoft to advertise the game in such a short amount of time, and expect it to make good sales.
