Without a doubt with a new upcoming generation of consoles, there is bound to be the talk of visual improvements. To the point that we could say that improved visuals are one of the main selling points of new systems. With that said, some of Playstation’s unreleased titles like The last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima offer stunning graphics and landscapes already. We could even argue that these games look much better than many of the ‘next-gen’ titles announced so far.
But Sony isn’t stopping at that. The Japanese giant is aiming to push the industry with the sequel to its popular title Horizon: Zero Dawn. According to a job listing from Guerrilla Games, the developers are recruiting a “Technical vegetation artist”. As stated by the job listing, this allows the developers to “deliver [an] immersive world with industry-benchmark graphics”. Apparently, the Guerrilla Games had about four teams dedicated to creating “stunning environments” in the first game.
We already know that a sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn is in works, but for more news, we’ll have to wait and see what unfolds. Horizon: Zero Dawn is currently available on Playstation 4, but soon the title will make its way to PC. An opportunity to bring new fans to the franchise.
