Hearthstone celebrates reaching 100 million players

Hearthstone, the card collecting and battling game from Blizzard, has reached a major milestone. It has hit 100 million players. To celebrate the exciting feat, Blizzard is rewarding its users with free cards.

Blizzard is offering free card packs for an active account for simply logging in between November 7 and 11. Players will get six card packs just by logging in during that time frame. They’re also offering a special quest that players can opt into. Players can gain up to 500 gold in friendly matches at 100 gold a piece.

The news comes on the coattails of a new major expansion for Hearthstone during BlizzCon a few days ago: Rastakhan’s Rumble. Things for the franchise just keep looking brighter and Blizzard has continuously given its support for the game.
