Microsoft responds to gamer’s
Its Monday morning, and by now any gamer’s out there have probably seen or heard about the Xbox showcase from last Thursday. And I for one thought it was a real treat. However, not all gamer’s thought the same. One game in particular that received criticism was Microsoft’s new Halo entry.
Gamer’s have said that graphically it was not very appealing. Aaron Greenberg, manager of marketing was quick to respond with this statement. ‘We’re in the middle of a global pandemic. It’s July, we’re far from a Holiday season launch. You’re seeing a work-in-progress game. It’s very hard to show the full power and graphical fidelity of what Xbox series X will be able to deliver for you over a stream. Go back and look at it in 4K 60fps‘
The live-stream quality was much lower than what you would actually see on the console. You can see the new footage below.
Greenberg also added this ‘The other thing I’ll just say is, it is a work-in-progress. I can tell you, because we see build check-ins every week, and they make progress week after week, so between now and Holiday it’s just going to get better and better’.
It’s alps worth noting that so far, the Infinite footage we gave seen has been run on a PC and not on the new console. A 343 Industries dev said ‘The game was captured from a PC that is representative of the experience that players will have on Xbox Series X’
So there you have it, people. Be patient, untwist your panties, and wait for the winter!
