Grounded, A New Survival Coming July 28th
Grounded, announced in November 2019, is a new survival game by Obsidian. You play as miniature people as you try to survive the giant world around you as if you were a bug. Travel a garden-like landscape as you build your base and try to survive against bugs and more. The game will be available for early access on Xbox One and PC on July 28th.
Obsidian has always innovated with their games like The Outer Worlds, so it’s exciting to see them get behind a project like this. Grounded adds yet another unique game to the Obsidian library. While it’s not out yet, the new trailer shown at the Xbox Games Showcase looked very promising. If you like survival games, be sure to check it out. The game also features 4-player multiplayer co-op. While it hasn’t been revealed how tough the game can get, the 4-player co-op could be a fun challenge for you and your friends.
It’s fun to see Obsidian get behind a less mature game. Their games have always been creative, but most are meant for more mature audiences. Grounded could be a new introduction to teenagers and children to the library of Obsidian games. With the game launching in less than a week, it’s going to be exciting to check it out firsthand.
