Golden Joystick Award Results + Game of The Year is!… Fortnite??

Fortnite beats both Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War for Golden Joystick’s Game of the Year..

The Golden Joystick Awards have determined. CD Projekt’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 grabbed the title for Most Wanted Game, while Fortnite took on heavy favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 to claim the overall Game of the Year title.

Of course, I cannot deny Fortnite’s popularity. However, seeing it as game of the year really grinds my gears. With titles such as God of War and Read Dead Redemption 2 in the running, Fortnite should not have stood a chance. Despite its popularity much more work went into RDR2 and GOW… And, in my opinion at least both are much better games.
