Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered has been released

The 2009 title Ghostbusters: The Video game wasn’t exactly the best game ever released, but Saber Interactive, Terminal Reality, and Red FlyStudio decided that Ghostbusters: The Video game remastered version was on the cards and it would be worth it.

This game isn’t about the third film releasing next year called Ghostbusters 2020; it’s just a remastered version of the 2009 game. It takes place in New York which is under siege by ghosts, with the actual voices of the cast from the films, yes, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson voice their own characters. Actually, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis had written the story for this title.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch. It’s also out for PC, too, but is exclusive on the Epic Games Store.

Can you remember playing the original title back in 2009? Are you going to pick this version up? Let us know in the comments below.

Hey, my name is Mark, I am 29, video game enthusiast! My earliest memory was playing Worms on the Amiga against my Godmother, yes the Amiga, massive box type thing, needed eighty-five thousand floppy disks to play one game, maybe a slight exaggeration, those were the days! I love RPG's, and The Legend of Zelda series. Dogs are pretty awesome.

Have your say!
