Come September 15th Forza Motorsport 6 will be delisted and unavailable for Xbox gamers. A sad but not unusual incident for Turn 10 Studios where they are forced to give a game the name “End of Life” and stop selling digitally.
This all is happening due to the expiration of certain car and music licenses and rather than pay to keep those licences; the game is just simply “pulled from the shelves” digitally. But with that said, if you have already purchased the game or if any remain hard copies are lingering throughout games stores, those will continue to be sold as usual.
One good thing about this happening is that all DLC will be 95% off starting August 16th. And starting the 16th the game will be free as well, so a free game with every DLC ever at 95% off? It’s a no brainer.
Last year was Forza Horizon 4 which launched on Xbox Game Pass, and the game was beautiful. Turn 10 Studios tends to switch between Motorsport and Horizon every other launch and we have no news yet for the new title on current-gen so it most likely will be next-gen.
