Fortnite surpasses 8.3 million player mark

Recently, Epic Games Korea CEO Sung Chul Park talked with Inven confirming some details about Fortnite. In fact, according to him the game currently has 8.3 million concurrent players.

Honestly, not bad for a game that’s been out for over a year. Of course, they surpassed PUBG’s numbers back in March this year. Accordingly, PUBG was the reigning king with 3.2 million players until Fortnite came in with 3.4 million.

Interestingly, according to SteamDB the sum total of Steam users is 13.2 million concurrent. Obviously, with Fortnite going the way its going Steam as a platform may have to compete with the game. Not to mention, the game’s consistent supply of content like NFL jerseys, Striker packs, and strange events happening to keep the ball rolling.
