Is Fortnite leaving early access?
Since it was launched back in 2017, fans have been waiting for Fortnite: Save the world to become free to play like Battle Royale. The game has witnessed several changes, huge developments to keep its place on the top of the most beloved games all over the world. So to consider Fortnite leaving early access is really humiliating, thus Epic Games decided to put an end to all those rumors.
Epic games issued on June 29 an update regarding Both games Fortnite and save the world. “Today we’re bringing Save the World out of Early Access and have decided that it will remain a premium experience rather than going free-to-play,” Epic Games said in a post on their official site. “Development of new content will slow down after this official release, but the adventure doesn’t end here for Save the World.”
Epic also added that it will no longer support new cosmetics from the Battle Royale mode, this will happen within the upcoming months. It also announced that there will be a new seasonal structure for Save The World which will recur annually on a different schedule apart from the Battle Royale mode, Besides the narrative events will be separated in the future as well. It looks like Epic Games are giving Save The World another progression system to separate it from the other modes.
