During today’s highly anticipated Direct, Nintendo announced that Fire Emblem Three Houses has been delayed.
The news was delivered after an impressive video that went in-depth into the game. Anime quality cut scenes were shown depicting the complicated struggle between the titular three houses. The overall story arc has the player enrolled in an officer’s school, where all three houses were represented. Think Hogwart’s but with less wizards and more Fire Emblem. Oh, and there is also a mysterious girl guiding you. Naturally, you are the only one who can hear or see her.
After the video, the announcement was made that instead of the original March release, Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be delayed to July 26th of this year.
Fans of the series may be disappointed, but to paraphrase the immortal Shigeru Miyamoto, “A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever.”
Fire Emblem: Three Houses launches on Nintendo Switch on July 26th, 2019.
