Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XII is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD remasters are also available for pre-order on the same systems. Each of the games will include updated graphics but XII is adding more than that.
A new trial mode has been added to the game so even veterans will have something new to do. Along with that, there’s the remastered soundtrack. A big enhancement though is the license reset which lets you change any party member’s job. Additional gambit sets are also added, so you can customize the party’s AI and change between them for different situations. Finally, an improved New Game+ will carry over some items like weapons and gil while letting you start with a party at level 90.
You can check out the trailer they released for Final Fantasy XII below here.
Along with the trailer for Final Fantasy XII they also released one for the FFX/X-2 Remaster. FFX/X-2 will also have improved graphics and an improved soundtrack, with the ability to switch between the improved and original soundtracks. You can check out that trailer here as well.
Final Fantasy XII will be available to play April 30th with FFX and X-2 coming sooner on the 16th of that month. Let us know in the comments which remaster you’re looking forward to the most.
