Fallout 76 has a brand new patch
Fallout 76, Bethesda’s new ambitious online shooter, has been in open beta for a couple weeks. The game still focuses on the adventures of the vault dweller in the post-apocalyptic wasteland, but this time, it’s all online. Friends will be able to team up and take on the wasteland together.
The game has been in an open beta since October 24 for Xbox One users and October 30 for PC and PlayStation 4 players. With that being the case, it comes as no surprise that there have been some hiccups along the way
The official report is available on the Bethesda site. It reveals some bug and glitch fixes, which should not be too shocking. Bethesda also rebalanced some enemy health, such as the Super Mutants and the Scorched, and they also reworked certain crafting recipes, merchanting options and mission restart waiting periods.
The game has an official release date of November 24 across all platforms. This is uncharted territory for Bethesda since they haven’t brought any major online capability to the Fallout series yet. That’s part of the reason for the open beta; it allows Bethesda to iron out some of the wrinkles beforehand.
The game boasts a lot of potential for a franchise that has achieved high acclaim in the past. Bethesda has also stated that they plan on supporting the game as long as they can.
What are you looking forward to the most for Fallout 76? Did you play the open beta? If so, what issues did you have? Let us know in the comments!
