Fallout 76 has a big new patch coming next week
Fallout 76 came out just a few days ago, but there were still several issues that didn’t get addressed in the beta. That shouldn’t be surprising. Bugs, glitches and patches are all part of the game-maintenance cycle for something of this scale.
The leak is coming on Monday, November 19 and will feature a lot of tweaks. According to the Fallout 76 update team (and via Brian Crecente of Variety),
The Nov. 19 patch will focus primarily on game performance and stability on all platforms but will also come with a list of fixes to quests, UI, C.A.M.P.s, and more. Bethesda said that full patch notes will be available early next week and that this particular patch will be large compared to what we expect for patches going forward. Regular updates will always vary in size, but future updates should be much smaller in comparison, it said.
It sounds like Bestheda and its Fallout 76 team are trying to stay ahead of the curve of complaints and issues. That’s a good start. It’ll be interesting to see how well they handle sustaining a fluid gaming experience for the fans.
