Recently, Epic Games closed an investment deal which involved $1.25 billion dollars. In fact, the deal was helped thanks to Fortnite. Apparently, the deal involved investors such as KKR, ICONIQ Capital, Smash Ventures, aXiomatic Gaming, Vulcan Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Supposedly, the investors were impressed on how Epic is handling things with their new title and the tech behind it. Not to mention, the Wall Street Journal has reported that Epic is valued at 15 billion now after the investment deal. Honestly, its cool to see a company so determined to be successful at any means.
