Epic Games have released a statement today going over what they called the Fortnite philosophy, in the statement they mostly go over the B.R.U.T.E which has caused a lot of issues in Fortnite with players wanting Epic games to remove the mech from the game completely which is how #RemoveTheMech become trending.

Now they go over how the Brute is allowing players who have never won a game before or even got a kill before; it now allows them to have a chance at getting that sweet victory royale, Epic Games said:

The B.R.U.T.E. was added at the start of Season X with this mission in mind. Since then, we have seen players who had previously struggled with getting eliminations acquiring more, while the number of eliminations earned by more experienced players remained steady.

They also give some charts which you can see down below, which go over the Brute kills per game mode.

In my opinion not that I am supposed to have one, but this is just Epic Games way of showing everyone the middle finger by saying well according to our data the Brute is not an issue what so ever but they did state they have since nerfed the spawn rate in Arena game modes

B.R.U.T.E. encounters should feel like a unique engagement and not be the dominant experience during a game. We made adjustments to the B.R.U.T.E within Arena, in line with that goal.
