Embark teases their first game

Patrick Soderlund, former EA Executive Vice President, teased his new studio and their first game. The studio, named Embark, is working on a free-to-play action game, set in a distant future. You can see some concept art below.

He also said that they’re using Epic’s Unreal Engine for the game. Along with their own technology of course. You won’t have to enjoy the engine’s scenery alone though as it will be co-op.

“I can tell you that it’s a cooperative free-to-play action game set in a distant future, about overcoming seemingly impossible odds by working together,” Patrick wrote. Cooperative and free-to-play is sure to catch a lot of people’s attention. As will the concept art I’m sure.

Embark is still a new and small studio though, so it may take some time for a proper game reveal. The bottom left concept art has already gotten me excited for it though. Let us know in the comments if you’re excited as well.

I am a fighting game fanatic. I love all genres pretty much but fighting games are top of the list. I'm from America. I've always been a fan of writing and video games both but it only occurred to me recently that I could put them together.

Have your say!
