Developer EA DICE said on Reddit that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order hero Cal Kestis won’t be added to Star Wars Battlefront 2.

User u/thekingofhatejb remarked on StarWarsBattlefront subreddit: “Unpopular opinion: Cal doesn’t need to be in a battlefront game because he has his own game”. His own game is absolutely amazing, too. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Sekiro-style lightsaber combat system is great because it teaches you how to use the weapon properly. The big bad Sith Inquisitors are scary and believable villains in the limbo between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Adding Cal to Battlefront 2 has the potential to ruin this experience.

However, even though Cal may not be the most formidable Force wielder, but plenty of players would like to see him appear in Star Wars Battlefront 2. EA publishes both of the games, so it’s not too far fetched. However, EA DICE global community lead Ben Walke gave us some bad news on Reddit: “We have a list, he’s not on it”. Undeterred, players then leapt onto the list Walke mentioned and speculated on his comment describing no current plans to add characters from the new game.

This means that, for now, it seems that a grand total of ZERO Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order characters are crossing over to Battlefront 2. But no need to cry, because you’ll be able to play as Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian in Battlefront 2 with this new mod.  What else do you need in life?

Hello! My name is Juan and I am a 19 years old video game lover. My favorite games are Portal 2, Dark Souls 2 and Mario Galaxy 2. Yes I know, I have a thing for sequels. I have put more hours into those three games than in any other video game ever, except maybe Counter Strike 1.6, which holds some of my fondest childhood memories.

Have your say!
