Bethesda has finally released an update for Doom And Doom II which will finally allow players to play Doom Or Doom II without having to login into Bethesda.Net.
We’ve deployed a patch for the re-releases of DOOM and DOOM II, which now adds an option to skip the Bethesda net login requirement and removes the disconnect notification during gameplay. pic.twitter.com/KtlbRvmRyJ

When Doom and Doom II released and players found out they needed to log into Bethesda.Net in order to play, well let’s just say they were not happy as they quickly took to Twitter to show their frustration:

And rightfully so, considering the Doom Trilogy is supposed to be an offline experience. However there is still the issue of Doom 3 which requires you to log in to Bethesda.Net in order to access certain features, so only time will tell if Bethesda will fix this issue as well.
